General Job Description Position Summary IES Residential is seeking a Plumbing Warehouse Associate to join our team. Previous warehouse, inventory, or labor experience is beneficial. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively support warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory activities. Responsibilities Assist with warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling activities. Receive, stock, organize, and distribute materials, tools, and equipment. Support warehouse personnel by preparing materials and supplies for operational needs. Maintain accurate records, reports, and inventory documentation. Communicate with supervisors and operational teams regarding warehouse requirements and inventory updates. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures. Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and equipment readiness. Contribute as a team player in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service at all times. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Education None Minimum Years of Experience 0-2 Specific Qualifications Qualifications Previous warehouse, inventory, labor, or operational experience preferred. Basic organizational and problem-solving abilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn. Ability to follow safety procedures and operational guidelines. Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing operational demands. Ability to work overtime, modified schedules, or occasional weekends as business needs require. Stand, walk, climb ladders and stairs, kneel, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach, and lift throughout the workday. Sit for extended periods while driving to and between job sites. Work on active job sites, indoors and outdoors, including attics, crawlspaces, and confined or elevated spaces, with exposure to varying weather, construction noise, dust, and other job site conditions. Wear safety gear such as Personal Protective Equipment. Maintain dependable transportation and consistent, reliable attendance to meet customer service and operational needs. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions within established company policies and procedures. Communicate in person, by phone, and electronically, including on a tablet, smartphone, and other office technology. Travel as required to support project and operational needs. Perform all work on-site and in person; this is not a remote or hybrid position. Lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
