CMT - Assisted Living
CNA/Medication Aide
** Conveniently located in Providence on the bus line! **
Full Time | Nights (11pm - 7am)
Part Time | Days (7am-3pm) | Every Other Weekend Only!
Per Diem | Evenings (3pm - 11pm)
Pay: $20.08 - $22.26/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities of a CMT - Assisted Living:
  • Maintain consistent level of professionalism with residents, family members and staff.
  • Comply with all administrative and nursing policies and procedures.
  • Make accurate decisions and take appropriate actions especially with regard to changes in resident physical, mental or emotional status.
  • Carry out all requests made by the Director of Resident Care, Nurse Manager or Administrator.
  • Keep the Director of Resident Care or Administrator informed of resident status and other related matters.
  • Follow resident service plans.
  • Attend all nursing staff meetings and in-services.
  • Make frequent or as needed checks of resident apartments to assure safety and well being of the residents.
  • Administer medications to the residents as ordered and document accordingly.
  • Complete daily communication sheet on each resident for his/her shift as needed.
  • Review medication sheets and physicians' orders for accuracy. Report any inaccuracies noted to the Nurse Manager or Director of Resident Care.
  • Complete non sterile treatments as ordered and as needed.
  • Maintain resident records.
  • Complete required incident reports and notify family members, physicians, and Nurse Manager/Director of Resident Care.
  • Encourage residents' participation in activities and assist in taking to activities as needed.
  • Supervise general cleanliness of the unit and care stations.
  • Complete resident care assignment as directed.

Qualifications for a CMT - Assisted Living:
  • Licenses issued by the State of Rhode Island as a medication aide and as a nursing assistant.
  • At least one year of experience required
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit and bend intermittently.
  • Must be able to lift in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
  • Maintain current CPR certification.
