Join our team as a Resident Services Coordinator at Avenida del Sol & Ruby Vista!

Are you someone who enjoys building relationships, connecting people to resources, and creating a welcoming community? We're looking for an approachable, service-minded Resident Services Coordinator to support residents at two of our multifamily affordable housing communities, Avenida del Sol and Ruby Vista. This role is especially focused on creating meaningful programs and connections for youth and families while helping residents access resources that promote stability, wellness, and a strong sense of community. Bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.

What You'll Do

  • Build strong relationships with residents and the community by creating a welcoming, approachable environment and understanding resident needs, interests, and goals.

  • Develop and coordinate resident programs and events, with a strong focus on youth and family programming that promotes skill development, academic success, community connection, housing stability, and overall wellness.

  • Connect residents with resources and services by building partnerships with local nonprofits, government agencies, social service providers, and other community organizations and helping residents navigate available support.

  • Support resident communication and engagement through newsletters, programming calendars, flyers, community outreach, surveys, group discussions, and other engagement activities.

  • Partner with property management and community stakeholders to address resident concerns, advocate for residents, and ensure required services and commitments are delivered and properly documented.

  • Maintain accurate records and uphold compliance by tracking programs and services, protecting resident confidentiality, and following Fair Housing requirements and applicable laws and regulations.

What You'll Bring

  • Ability to work set schedule: 11am-7pm 4 days per week

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of two years of related experience preferred.

  • Experience working with youth, youth services, social services, community programs, or nonprofit organizations.

  • A genuine passion for helping others and a service-minded, approachable, and welcoming personality.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with residents from diverse backgrounds.

  • Bilingual communication skills are strongly preferred.

  • Ability to independently develop and coordinate programs while also working collaboratively with property management and community partners.

  • Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.

Schedule: This is a 32-hour-per-week position working four days per week, generally from 11:00 AM-7:00 PM. The specific four-day schedule is flexible but will be set in advance, with approximately two days per week at each property.
