Job description

Position Summary

The Resident Services Assistant provides administrative and customer service support to residents, guests, and staff within the community. This position serves as the first point of contact at the front office, assisting with phones, resident inquiries, office tasks, and daily community operations while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
  • Greet residents, visitors, vendors, and staff at the front office
  • Assist residents with questions, requests, and general community information
  • Maintain resident records, files, and office documentation
  • Support management with administrative tasks, data entry, and scheduling
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Prepare notices, flyers, and community correspondence as needed
  • Monitor office supplies and assist with ordering inventory
  • Coordinate service requests and communicate with maintenance staff
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident and company information
  • Help support community events and resident activities when needed
  • Perform additional office and customer service duties as assigned
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous receptionist, administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
