Modern Family Lawย (MFL),ย a rapidly expanding national lawย firm specializing in Family Law, is seeking 3Lsย and recent graduatesย sitting for theย February 2027ย Bar examย or the July 2027 Bar examย toย participateย inย MFL Academy's Residencyย Programย in one of ourย Texas offices (Austin, Dallas, or San Antonio).ย Thisย role is hybrid, but you must sit for the Bar and plan toย resideย in the stateย whereย you are applying.ย 

Residencyย Program Details:ย 

After sitting for the Bar exam,ย Residency participantsย willย join MFLย toย receive training inย substantive family law and courtroom advocacy.ย Residents will receiveย mentorship fromย the MFLย Learning & Developmentย departmentย and legalย teams,ย helpingย themย successfullyย transition to anย MFLย Associate Attorneyย positionย uponย passing theย Bar.ย

Requirements

    • Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.ย 
    • Register for theย upcomingย February or Julyย Bar exam.ย

    • Timely submission and approval of Character & Fitness application by the State Bar.ย 
    • Experience in Family Law Clinics is a plus.ย 
    • Mock Trial experience is a plus.ย 
    • Submission of cover letter, law schoolย transcript, and responses to candidate questionnaire.ย
