Job description

The Senior Reservation Specialist plays a critical role in delivering high-quality corporate housing solutions by managing incoming housing requests from business clients and translating those requirements into well-researched, market-appropriate housing recommendations. This role is responsible for understanding client housing criteria and sourcing suitable temporary housing options on a national basis, leveraging a wide range of supplier relationships, online booking platforms, and industry resources. The Senior Reservation Specialist applies housing market knowledge, sound judgment, and strong organizational skills to research availability across hotels, extended-stay properties, corporate apartments, private rentals, and short-term rental platforms. This role distills complex housing variables- such as location, budget, timing, length of stay, flexibility, number of occupants, and pet considerations- into clear, client-ready housing options that can be finalized once pricing and approvals are completed by management. This position operates in a B2B service environment, working closely with internal teams, landlords, property managers, and hospitality partners to support smooth tenancy and reservation coordination while maintaining accurate tracking and visibility within reservation and housing systems.

Job Responsibilities and Duties
  • Manage incoming housing requests from corporate clients, ensuring a clear understanding of housing requirements, constraints, and priorities.
  • Research and source appropriate furnished housing options on a national scale, aligning availability with client criteria, budget guidelines, and timing considerations.
  • Apply market knowledge and sourcing expertise to evaluate housing suitability across hotels, extended-stay properties, corporate apartments, private rentals, and short-term rental platforms.
  • Exercise sound judgment when balancing availability, flexibility, cost considerations, and client expectations.

Housing Research & Recommendations

  • Consolidate housing research into clear, organized recommendations that present the best available options for client consideration once pricing is finalized.
  • Prepare housing option summaries in a format suitable for client delivery, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with program standards.
  • Partner with management to support pricing review, approvals, and final housing selections.

Supplier, Landlord & Tenancy Coordination

  • Interface professionally with landlords, property managers, hospitality providers, and third-party platforms to support reservation and tenancy coordination.
  • Support tenancy-related matters through effective communication and issue awareness, ensuring a positive experience for clients and occupants.
  • Maintain productive working relationships with housing suppliers and service partners.

Systems, Tracking & Data Integrity

  • Accurately track housing requests, sourcing activity, and reservation status within designated reservation and housing systems.
  • Maintain organized documentation and activity records to ensure visibility, follow-through, and service continuity.
  • Support reporting and internal coordination through timely updates and system accuracy.
Why This Role Matters at RRI

The Senior Reservation Specialist directly supports Rental Relocationโ€™s promise to deliver responsive, flexible, and well-managed temporary housing solutions for corporate clients. By combining housing expertise with disciplined research and thoughtful recommendations, this role helps RRI reduce complexity for clients, enhance the occupant experience, and reinforce long-term partnerships built on trust and execution.

  • Working knowledge of tenancy concepts, including professional interaction with landlords and property managers; experience reviewing leases or legal housing documents preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize housing data into clear, client-ready recommendations.
