Job Opportunity: Addiction Medicine Faculty Physician

Our organization is on the lookout for an Addiction Medicine Faculty Physician to become a vital part of our multidisciplinary team. We are dedicated to delivering exceptional, patient-focused Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine services to our community.

This distinctive faculty position will involve a balanced focus, with 50% of the role dedicated to Family Medicine and the other 50% to Addiction Medicine. This offers a fulfilling combination of clinical practice and academic involvement. The role includes opportunities to educate medical students and residents, as well as contribute to the development of a new Addiction Medicine fellowship within our affiliated medical education program. Faculty members will also engage in clinical research while providing patient care in both community and private practice environments.

We seek a dedicated clinician educator who is passionate about harm reduction and evidence-based addiction treatment. The ideal candidate will work towards enhancing equitable access to primary care in the Central Valley, employing a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and patient-centered approach within a culture that values academic excellence and teamwork.

Qualifications
  • Must be board certified in Family Medicine.
  • Board certified or eligible in Addiction Medicine at the start of employment.
  • Eligible to obtain a California medical license upon hiring.
