Responsibilities
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities across engineering, research, and technology programs and initiatives
  • Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and competing priorities
  • Track program performance and maintain reports, dashboards, and project monitoring tools
  • Support the administration and tracking of research projects, contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements
  • Coordinate communications with members, committees, government agencies, universities, consultants, and industry partners
  • Support committee and task-force activities and help keep stakeholders aligned on projects
  • Assist with sustainability, innovation, technology, and industry partnership initiatives
  • Maintain accurate program data and provide leadership with visibility into project status, milestones, and potential risks
  • Develop and improve processes, workflows, tools, and systems to increase efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Experience in program management, project coordination, research administration, association operations, or a related field strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with dashboards, databases, project tracking systems, or other data management tools is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively move projects forward
  • Close attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reporting
  • Comfortable communicating with technical experts, researchers, industry professionals, and external stakeholders
  • Experience with civil engineering, nonprofit organizations, research programs, contract or grant administration, stakeholder engagement, or technology platforms is a plus
  • Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders
