Job description

You will serve as an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (AV SUPPORT TECHNICIAN) in the HQ IT SUPPORT SERVICES BRANCH of COMMANDER US FLEET FORCES COMMAND.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
  • Experience in the installation, configuration, and management of audio and video systems (AV).
  • Experience resolving technical issues relating to audio and video systems.
  • Experience providing customer support and training.
  • Experience in developing network diagrams and plans pertaining to the design of AV systems.
  • Experience in implementing AV technologies from EXTRON, CRESTRON, and CISCO.
  • Experience in reading and implementing technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
