Job description

RESEARCH SCIENTIST 1, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab, to join the FutureTech Group to conduct research assessing the pace of progress in AI and how it maps to economic outcomes such as job automation. This role will serve as a key member of a multidisciplinary team that includes economists and computer scientists. Responsibilities include planning, conducting, and implementing research tasks and projects that require independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and substantially modifying standard techniques. The Research Scientist will develop new approaches to understanding the pace of AI progress and its economic implications and will be expected to conduct and publish original research.
