Responsibilities
The global Business Integrity team ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for TikTok users while viewing ads. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to create ad policies that support responsible monetization, the NA Regional Policy & Product team is critical in ensuring a joyful and creative ads experience while safeguarding the TikTok community. This position will help create TikTok's advertising policies for the NA region, in addition to supporting our partner teams on incoming policy queries. Our ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, able to navigate ambiguity, deliver against multiple objectives and workstreams simultaneously. As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. This internship offers the opportunity to develop practical skills, apply your knowledge to real-world challenges, and explore your career interests. Responsibilities - Conduct research and review stakeholder feedback to help shape NA advertising policies - Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Public Policy, Public Relations, Advertiser Experience, and Risk Governance to develop sound, enforceable policies - Collaborate closely with partner teams to implement and maintain effective and scalable cross-team workflows - Manage incoming queries about advertising policies and provide accurate, clear, and concise responses, to ensure consistent decision-making and cross-team alignment - Work directly with Policy & Product Managers to review trends, document and report findings, and iterate policies to drive improvements - Help develop and maintain clear policy documentation, including project briefs, internal guidance, and cross-team updates. - Support the NA Regional Policy & Product team to deliver wider integrity initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in an MBA program, with more than one year of the current program completed. - Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights - Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated interest in digital safety topics, policy, or platform governance; and good understanding of the dynamics between users, advertisers, and advertising policies - Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and managing multiple priorities - Good understanding of the digital advertising landscape, and a passion for the TikTok product Preferred Qualification: - Second-year MBA candidates; students pursuing other relevant degrees are also welcome to apply.

[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $40- $40.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
