Job Description SummaryOrganization's Summary Statement:
The NextGen Program Coordinator is responsible for orchestration of NextGen Program activities and monitoring the program's contractual performance in support of the Program Manager and Program Governance Manager. The incumbent must review and interpret complex requirements, conduct related research, spot anomalies, prioritize actions within realm of responsibility, synthesize disparate information sources to extract relevance and alert decision makers to significance and/or needed action. The role is responsible for coordination of NextGen Program activities and monitoring the program's contractual performance in support of the NextGen Program Governance Manager. This role reports directly to the NextGen Program Governance Manager who is accountable for contractual oversight of the Concessionaire and the NextGen Program.
Physical Demands:
The incumbent primarily works in an office environment and requires the ability to use a personal computer, phone, and other devices. This position is telework-eligible.
Preferences:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, Contract Management, or a related subject.
Two (2) years of progressively responsible related experience including strong data entry, calendar management, document management, correspondence development, and financial administration skills.
Ability to coordinate meetings and events.
Demonstrated experience with Public-Private Partnerships.
Maintenance and/or Operations oversight experience.
Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), such as Maximo, SAP, or QFM is a plus.
Contract management experience.
Smartsheet experience.
Licenses/ Certifications:
The incumbent must possess a driver's license, as the role involves traveling to meetings and project sites both on and off campus. If operating a state vehicle, the incumbent must possess a valid MD Class C driver's license or an equivalent with fewer than six (6) points.Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience: One (1) year of professional administrative or coordinator experience.
Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year for year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

Knowledge of best practices in organization, administration, and customer service.

Knowledge of proper protocol in dealing with confidential information.

Skill in oral and written communication.

Skill in the use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc.)

Ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.

Ability to multitask while demonstrating a commitment to customer service.
