Job Summary
The Student Lab Assistant supports the School of Nursing Experiential Learning Center professional staff and faculty with the preparation, organization, and cleanup of weekly simulation and laboratory activities at the Newnan campus.
Responsibilities

• Preparing laboratory and simulation spaces for scheduled learning activities
• Cleaning and resetting laboratory spaces after activities
• Organizing, stocking, and maintaining supplies and equipment
• Assisting with inventory management and documentation
• Providing basic support for laboratory technology and equipment
• Helping maintain a clean, organized, and professional learning environment
• Completing administrative tasks using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Forms
• Performing other related duties as assigned by Experiential Learning Center staff
• Other Duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be enrolled at UWG in a minimum of 6 credit hours.
• Must have and maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA

Physical Requirements/ Working Conditions

• Lifting up to 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Preference given to students who are not enrolled in nursing program
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Forms
• Comfort using computers and learning new technology
• Dependable, organized, and able to complete assigned tasks independently
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and attention to detail
