Job description

Position Summary

The R&D Intern will be working with R&D Engineers to support New Product Development projects, including DHF/DMR management.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist engineers with ongoing R&D initiatives

  • Support the design, development, and testing of new products

  • Perform assigned engineering tasks under supervision

  • Prepare and present presentations that summarize tasks/accomplishments

Requirements

  • A full-time student with a minimum 2 years in college, pursuing a degree in STEM majors, preferentially in BME, ME, EE and CS.

  • Strong curiosity and analytical thinking

  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Interns are expected to work onsite at the Palo Alto office five days a week throughout the 12week internship period.

Salary Range: $20/Hr- $25/Hr

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.

This program is designed to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and to maintain radiation exposure at levels that are As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA). Additional guidance and protective equipment, as necessary, will be provided as part of onboarding and ongoing safety training.
