The Job:

As a Project Engineer, you'll be part of our Manufacturing Engineering team working as an onsite employee. You'll get to:

  • Implement Deviations and change notices (CN) in SAP
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure the effective execution of the following:
  • Plant budget development and management, including asset implementation at project close.
  • Timely release of engineering documentation including drawings, bills of material, quality critical features, and related documents to support proper execution by plant resources.
  • Product cost tracking and savings management from prototype trough implementation.
  • Development of robust manufacturing processes through the application of PFMEA, SMED & poke-a-yoke principles.
  • SQA-015 approval of all new components.
  • Establishment of Quality Assurance equipment and documentation including Incoming Quality Control, In Process Quality Control, End-Of-Line Testing, Finished Stock Audit requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead all sample builds including Prototype, ESL, MSL, and Pilot builds, in an efficient and organized manner.
  • Identify and communicate risks and concerns related to product quality and/or project schedule.
  • Facilitate effective communication among all internal and external team members.
  • Manage engineering and product changes effectively to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

The Person:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline required.
  • Five or more years of experience in Molding Manufacturing preferred
  • Strong understanding of Injection Molding Principles
  • Experience with Mold construction preferred
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in at least two of the following disciplines preferred: Production, Quality, Materials, Design or Manufacturing
  • Demonstrated project management and implementation experience required.

The Salary range for this position is $64,400.00 - $103,700.00
