Job Summary:
In this position, you will play a key role on the Corporate Business Development team. You will build and maintain personal relationships with key contacts, customer organizations, strategic vendors, and partners. You will develop bid and proposal strategies and demonstrate how Bechtel can help customers achieve their objectives. Your work will expand market reach and drive growth and success for Bechtel.
Major Responsibilities:
Prepares and monitors various market profiles, customer profiles and business development activity reports as required
Performs research on customers and competition and presents findings to business development colleagues and business line general management
Maintains activity data in the customer relationship management system including call notes, prospect records and win plans
Builds personal relationships with contacts in customer organizations, strategic vendors and partners
Develops marketing information for use by the business development team
Participates in the management of the proposal development effort including producing and assembling content
Stays abreast industry trends and relationships that can impact Bechtel's business development performance
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience or 12-14 years of relevant work experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Support BD Management with research on projects/customers/technologies
Manage/coordination industry events
Interface with broader BD and proposal team
Build and present client plans and attending client meetings
Building customers/project tracking in Dynamics
Prepare and route project approval documentation
