Position Summary:

Choice Solutions is seeking a goal-oriented individual with proven integrity to join a team committed to doing the right thing. In this B2B sales role, you will use your relationships and consultative approach to grow a territory, uncover new opportunities, and connect clients with Choice Solutions expertise across EUC, cloud, datacenter, cybersecurity, project services, and managed services.


This position is eligible for our Base + Commission plan when starting out. Account Managers have the opportunity to move to our Straight Commission compensation plan by developing territories, gaining experience, and achieving results.


Candidates must reside within the Kansas City metropolitan area and be able to regularly attend in-person meetings with clients and internal teams. Following initial in-office training, this position has a hybrid schedule working in office at least 3 days per week out of our headquarters in Overland Park, KS. 


Responsibilities:

  • Make proactive and determined efforts to research and engage in prospecting target customers and relationships
  • Understand business and IT challenges of current and potential customers, and determine how and where our solutions and services offerings can bring value
  • Work with assigned existing customer contacts on ongoing basis to ensure satisfaction and partnership growth
  • Create and deliver clear, professional presentations that connect Choice Solutions' capabilities to client business outcomes 
  • Leverage processes and templates to efficiently collaborate with Sales Operations, Project Management, and the Services Team
  • Journal all relevant sales activities (appointments, calls, etc.) and future follow-ups into CRM
  • Accurately and continuously maintain opportunities in CRM for business forecasting
  • Initiate regular communication with strategic partner reps as appropriate
  • Meet in person or over video weekly with designated sales coach
  • Participate in weekly sales team huddles
  • Actively engage in driving attendance to relevant marketing events
  • Keep up with industry-specific continued education via podcasts, vendor product training and updates, Udemy courses, books, etc.
  • Comply with established business practices
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Three to four years of successful relationship-driven sales experience; consulting services or IT solutions sales experience a plus
  • Strong communication, presentation, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive, self-disciplined approach with an understanding that daily habits, consistent activity, and follow-through drive long-term success
  • Strong customer orientation, attention to detail, and commitment to professional growth
  • Ability to communicate proactively and effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in an assigned territory while contributing to a collaborative, high-accountability team
  • Familiarity with end-user computing (EUC), hybrid cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, and modern infrastructure solutions is a plus
