Job description

Job Summary
Building a physical activity LiDAR dataset: collection, labeling, and augmentation for human activity recognition and premature infants.
Responsibilities*
  • Assist in the collection of LiDAR data and perform various physical activities under different environmental conditions.
  • Support the setup, calibration, and operation of LiDAR sensors during data collection sessions.
  • Organize, preprocess, and manage collected point cloud datasets to ensure data quality and consistency.
  • Label and annotate LiDAR recordings with activity classes, temporal boundaries, and relevant metadata.
  • Verify annotation accuracy through quality control and validation procedures.

Required Qualifications*
  • Current undergraduate student at UM-Flint in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
  • Basic programming skills.

Desired Qualifications*
  • Preferred junior or senior standing.
