POSITION SUMMARY:
Assist Warehouse manager in production, inventory, and receptionist/office duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Once given work order by Management, assemble batch production records, print labels and review for accuracy before releasing to the production floor
  • Act as backup personnel in entering inventory data into the computer, using purchase orders, receiving records, and production sheets
  • Assist with end of month inventory, checking raw materials/finished products and helping reconcile any inventory discrepancies.
  • Help warehouse personnel coordinate outbound shipments of product when necessary
  • Notify warehouse of shipments needing immediate attention, special packaging or relabeling requirements necessary for shipment
  • Answer and direct incoming calls
  • Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and Work Station Instructions and making sure everyone is current on their training
  • Responsible for self-involvement, team involvement and execution of tasks relative to achieving annual departmental goals
  • Create and monitor all Document Change Orders for accuracy, forward changes to the Quality department, and verify their implementation
  • Assist Warehouse Manager in reviewing monthly expenses and budget categories and certify all expenses are coded correctly
  • Manage inventory levels for Office, Packaging, Janitorial and Safety supplies and work with suppliers to ensure needs are met
  • Maintain Material Safety Data Sheets/Safety Data Sheets on all raw materials and cleaning/janitorial supplies
  • May serve as back up personnel for releasing finished product for shipment
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of production matrices, including visual status indicators such as graphs, chart, etc.
  • Assist in production when needed to meet scheduling demands

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associates Degree in Business related field, or 3 years production inventory & Microsoft Office experience
  • Lean or Six Sigma training is a plus
  • Microsoft Office experience required, Inventory Management Software experience is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Manufacturing warehouse environment
