The Ingram School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, invites applications for a tenuretrack position in NurseLed Health Systems Change, with scholarly focus areas that may include health services research, leadership, and healthcare administration with an emphasis on big data or artificial intelligence. The successful candidate will advance a research program that strengthens timely patient access to the full scope of advanced practice nursing and drives measurable improvements in health and systemlevel outcomes.

Job Duties

The successful candidate will be expected to develop an independent research programand to contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching for our diverse student body. They will also be expected to contribute to service activities within the School, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the University, or the wider community.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Candidates will have been educated as nurses or have a research focus relevant to nursing, have a doctorate in a health-related discipline and a track record of peer-reviewed publications.
  • Post-doctoral training will be an asset, as will evidence of success in receiving competitive, external research funding.
  • Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to and in accordance with circumstances, a track record in equity, diversity, and inclusiveness (EDI) in such contexts.
  • Candidates should be fluent in English; a working knowledge of French, or a commitment to acquiring it within a few years of appointment is preferred.
