Job Summary
Xavier University of Louisiana is currently searching for candidates for the position of staff Research Associate in the Division of Basic Pharmaceutical Sciences, in the Xavier University College of Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have a BS or greater in the biological or related sciences, and will be experienced in mammalian tissue culture, molecular/cellular biology, and small animal handling. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and be able to work with interdisciplinary teams of researchers. AA/EOE
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Biology
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Biology, Chemistry, or related scientific field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Special Requirements Summary
Experience in molecular biology and small animal handling is preferred
Work Hours
40hrs per week, occasionally more as dictated by needs.

Experience in molecular biology and small animal handling is preferred and to perform experiments and subsequent analysis pertaining to breast cancer etiology and potential therapy.
