The Construction Senior Project Manager leads project teams and day-to-day operations to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to client expectations. This role requires strong leadership, financial discipline, client communication, procurement oversight, and the ability to develop team members while driving operational excellence and change.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Manage people, processes, and daily project operations to execute assigned projects successfully.
  • Assign and monitor team responsibilities with clear ownership and accountability.
  • Lead team meetings that promote alignment, collaboration, and timely decisions.
  • Support sales in meeting project requirements, schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
  • Serve as the primary client contact for deliverables, communication, expectations, and issue resolution.
  • Manage procurement of materials, suppliers, purchase orders, and subcontracts.
  • Oversee client relations from order entry through final documentation.
  • Support site confirmations, field installations, equipment commissioning, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ensure teams prepare change orders, progress reports, payment requests, cost reports, and milestone updates.
  • Monitor scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • Coach, mentor, train, and develop team members while reinforcing accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Document performance evaluations and address concerns through corrective action when needed.
  • Lead with a business-owner mindset, balancing financial health, operational priorities, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Champion changes by communicating expectations, supporting adoption, and helping teams execute new processes.

  • Experience coordinating engineering, sales, procurement, field installation, commissioning, suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.

  • Strong organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a focus on safety, quality, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
  • Five-plus years’ experience in Project Management.
  • Experience with multiple local municipalities. 
  • Strong ability to navigate the MEP requirements of a project.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet firm deadlines in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong scheduling abilities along with utilization of Microsoft Project and other company-specific programs.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

  • BS Degree in construction management, operations management, business, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant leadership experience will be considered

  • OSHA 30 Hour certification

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY INFORMATION

  • In lieu of a degree, 5+ years’ verifiable Project Management experience with at least 3 years in a Lead or Senior Project Management position.
