Senior Chemist, Research & Processing / Senior Formulation Chemist

Join my client's R&D team as the technical bridge between formulation, process engineering, and manufacturing. This is a high-impact role where your expertise in scale-up and innovation will shape the future of personal care products, from bench concept to production reality. You'll be the go-to expert solving the challenges that others can't crack.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Leading tech transfers and scale-up trials for customer and internal formulas
  • Troubleshooting emulsification, stability, and mixing challenges alongside compounding teams
  • Researching dispersants, emulsifiers, and raw material innovations
  • Partnering with suppliers to stay ahead of emerging ingredient technologies
  • Developing internal best-practice guidelines for broader R&D adoption

About You

  • Be able to do the job as described.
  • Deep expertise in emulsion chemistry and pigment dispersion
  • Hands-on knowledge of zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, and mineral UV filters
  • Experience formulating SPF and OTC products under global regulatory frameworks
  • Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
