Assistant Property Manager – LIHTC / Section 8 Community

Key Assistant Manager responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily operations of a mid-sized LIHTC/Section 8 property
- Answer phones and respond to resident and prospect inquiries
- Conduct property tours and assist with leasing apartments
- Support oversight of maintenance and leasing personnel
- Assist with monthly reports, compliance tasks, and property inspections
- Help manage rent collection matters and maintain resident files
- Address resident concerns and assist with resolving internal and external issues involving residents, vendors, and staff
- Maintain compliance with affordable housing guidelines and company policies
- Deliver excellent customer service and help foster positive resident relations
Assistant Manager Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of property management experience required
- 1 year of LIHTC and Section 8 experience
- Prior staff management experience or leadership ability preferred
- RealPage/OneSite experience is a plus
- Strong customer service, communication, organization, and leadership skills required
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced property management environment
