About the Role:

The Janitor role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of commercial real estate properties. This position ensures that all areas, including offices, common spaces, and outdoor grounds, are kept in pristine condition to provide a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. The janitor will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks, including handling specialized materials such as stainless steel surfaces and managing landscaping duties. Additionally, the role involves operating equipment such as box trucks for transporting supplies and utilizing computer systems for reporting and scheduling. Ultimately, the janitor contributes to the smooth operation and positive reputation of the property by adhering to safety procedures and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in janitorial or custodial work within commercial buildings.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry heavy weights regularly.
  • Basic knowledge of safety procedures related to janitorial and landscaping work.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a box truck.
