Responsibilities may include feeding, habitat maintenance, handling, health monitoring, and educating the public about reptiles. Some professionals work in research, studying reptile behavior, ecology, or conservation efforts. Jobs in this field require knowledge of reptile species, their needs, and safe handling techniques.

What are some common challenges faced when working with reptiles in a professional setting?
