The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking an experienced Facility Security Officer (FSO), Journeyman to support security operations across the Indo-Pacific. The Facility Security Officer (FSO), Journeyman, serves as CACI's security professional responsible for administering and implementing the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and ensuring compliance with Government security requirements that support personnel, facilities, information, and classified operations. Reporting directly to the Program Security Manager, this position protects classified information, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains secure operating environments for logistics, facilities, mission support, training, and emergent operations.
The Facility Security Officer works closely with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) representatives, Government security personnel, program leadership, human resources, information technology staff, subcontractors, and mission partners to administer personnel security, physical security, document control, visitor management, classified material accountability, and security education programs. This position contributes to successful program execution by ensuring security requirements are effectively integrated into daily operations across geographically dispersed locations.
Responsibilities:
- Administer facility security programs in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), applicable Executive Orders, DoD regulations, and company security policies.
- Maintain compliance with DCSA security requirements for classified contracts and cleared facilities.
- Process personnel security actions including visit requests, clearance verification, indoctrinations, debriefings, and access authorizations.
- Maintain classified document accountability, storage, destruction, reproduction, transmission, and inventory records.
- Coordinate classified visits, visitor control procedures, and foreign visitor requests.
- Conduct security briefings, annual refresher training, and security awareness education for program personnel.
- Perform self-inspections, security audits, and internal compliance assessments while identifying corrective actions.
- Support physical security inspections and ensure proper operation of classified storage areas, intrusion detection systems, access control systems, and secure workspaces.
- Maintain security records, Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs), emergency action plans, and facility accreditation documentation.
- Coordinate with Information System Security personnel to support protection of classified information systems.
- Investigate and report security incidents, violations, and suspicious activities in accordance with Government reporting requirements.
- Support subcontractor security coordination and ensure compliance with contractual security requirements.
- Maintain accountability for COMSEC, controlled unclassified information (CUI), and classified materials, as applicable.
- Assist with preparation for DCSA security reviews and Government inspections.
- Promote security best practices and continuous process improvement to protect personnel, facilities, and classified information.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting industrial security, personnel security, physical security, information security, or security administration for Government or Department of Defense programs.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations is preferred.
- Experience administering facility security programs under the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
- Experience processing personnel security actions, classified visit requests, document accountability, and security education activities.
- Working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DCSA requirements, and applicable DoD security regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with Government security personnel while maintaining compliance with contractual security requirements.
Desired
- Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, Security Management, Homeland Security, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field.
- Completion of DCSA Facility Security Officer (FSO) Program Management for Possessing Facilities training or equivalent industrial security training.
- Experience utilizing DISS (Defense Information System for Security), NBIS, NISS, e-QIP/eApp, SWFT, and other Government security systems.
- Professional certifications such as Industrial Security Professional (ISP®), Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Security+, or equivalent security certifications are preferred.
- Experience supporting classified facilities, SCIF operations, Special Access Programs (SAP), or Special Operations organizations is highly desirable.
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed Government programs and OCONUS security operations is highly desirable.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
