Who We Are
Western Microsurgical specializes in the sale, service, maintenance and repair of Leica surgical microscopes, serving hospitals, surgery centers, and physicians in the specialties of ENT, Plastics, Ophthalmology and Neurosurgery.
Who You Are
Looking for an independent person who has experience in medical device sales. This person must be a results-driven sales representative who actively seeks out and engages customer prospects. This position would also need to have a basic knowledge for the diagnosing, maintenance and installation of a variety of surgical microscopes adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
What You'll Do
• Present, promote and sell our products and services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Prospect and qualify new sales leads
• Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Responds independently to customer calls
• Supplies excellent level of customer service using clear and concise communication
• Ensures service commitments are met within outlined response time
• Coordinates delivery of new and evaluation equipment; set up and breakdown of the surgical microscopes
• Advises end user on the use and basic maintenance of equipment
• Responsible for building relationships and selling capital equipment
• Ensures proper vehicle maintenance guidelines and safe driving habits are followed
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management
What You Bring
• Highschool diploma or equivalent, associates or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license with spotless driving record is required.
• 2 years of sales experience required; medical device sales preferred
• Technical training in the areas of Surgical Equipment, preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and customer skills
• Highly self-motivated
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
• Must be able up to lift up to 100lbs and can lift and load equipment into vehicle and unload at repair or installation site
• Must have reliable transportation needed to carry supplies and visit customer locations across assigned territory
