Job description

We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team!

We are an Employee Owned Stock Ownership (ESOP) California based Multi-branch Industrial distributor of Pipe, Valves, and Fittings seeking to fill an immediate open Outside Sales Representative associate position for our growing our Northern California and Las Vegas, Nevada market. Ideal candidate must have knowledge of Pipe, Valves, and Fittings and other related industrial products, a history of sales experience to the MRO, Contractor, OEM, Municipal, Military customer base. The candidate will work cooperatively with the sales manager, branch manager and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customer’s base, create new customers, in an inbound and outbound sales environment. You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Conduct daily territory sales duties to achieve territory, Branch and corporate sales plan goals.
  • Support sales activities to include but not limited to order desk calls, quotes, counter sales, and warehouse duties as needed.
  • Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Prospect and contact potential customers
  • Maintains and services existing accounts.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
  • Answers calls, questions, and concerns from customers.
  • Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments
  • Must have two or more years related experience in Pipe, Valves, and Fitting sales and customer service.
  • Basic computer skills with CRM platforms
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Bilingual Speaking a plus

This is a Salary plus Commission program, wages to be determined based on experience. After completing 60-day probation period, we offer generous benefits package which includes:
