Position Summary
As a Repossession Agent, you will operate independently in the field locating and securing vehicles on behalf of our lending clients. Agents are equipped with company-provided trucks, proprietary technology tools, and the support of United's internal operations team to maximize performance and earning potential.
This position requires professionalism, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. No prior repossession experience is required. We hire for attitude and work ethic, then provide the training needed for success.
Training Program
All newly hired Repossession Agents complete an intensive five-day training program at United's corporate headquarters in Memphis. Travel, lodging, and meals are fully covered by the company.
Training includes:
  • Classroom instruction on tools, processes, compliance, and operational procedures
  • Hands-on field training alongside experienced leadership
  • Route training and live recovery demonstrations
  • Instruction on proper vehicle handling and safety procedures
  • Guidance on documentation, communication, and client expectations
Key Responsibilities
  • Locate and recover vehicles assigned by internal operations
  • Safely secure and transport vehicles using company equipment
  • Utilize company technology platforms and recovery tools effectively
  • Maintain accurate documentation and updates on assigned accounts
  • Communicate professionally with clients, team members, and leadership
  • Follow all company safety policies, compliance standards, and operational procedures
  • Conduct basic vehicle handling and securement procedures
  • Work independently while maintaining productivity and professionalism in the field

  • Must be at least 23 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, background checks, and DOT physical requirements
