Overview
VTG is seeking Reports Officers to support our Client's challenging operational requirements at multiple locations in the Washington Metropolitan Area.
What will you do?
Successful Reports Officer candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence information from multiple intelligence disciplines. Candidates will be expected to effectively interact with customer personnel at all levels within the organization and demonstrate proficiency in manipulating various classified and open source databases. Reports Officers identify and evaluate possible counterintelligence concerns, drive collection operations through written products and briefings, and empower collectors by producing detailed targeting packages.
Do you have what it takes?
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and
    • 7-12 years of applicable experience (Level 3)
    • 12-20 years of applicable experience (Level 4)
    • 20+ years of applicable experience (Level 5)
  • Cable writing experience
  • Familiarity with classified databases, including specific targeting tools
  • Strong briefing and writing skills as well as the ability to work well with teams or individually with minimal supervision
  • Regional and/or functional expertise in a geographic region of interest
  • Prior experience in supporting intelligence operations or familiarity with the Intelligence Community and its objectives
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph at the time of application

Desired Qualifications:
  • Masters degree
  • Customer certification as a Reports Officers or Specialized Skills Officer
  • Foreign field experience from at least one overseas tour or extensive overseas TDY experience
  • Experience in Intelligence Operations / Analysis / Support to Field Operations
  • Experience identifying targeting leads through the exploitation of all-source databases
  • Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices
