Retail Merchandise Assitant
Location: Slick Rock Clubhouse - Retail Office
Reports To: Director of Retail
Supervises: Uniform Coordination & Uniform Shop Attendants
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary
The Merchandise Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Horseshoe Bay Resort buying and merchandising team. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the appearance of our retail outlets, assisting with merchandising and inventory management, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
General Duties:
  • Receive, inspect, and prepare all merchandise for the sales floor
  • Support inventory transfers and store replenishment
  • Assist with data accuracy in POS and inventory systems
  • Support merchandising and visual initiatives
  • Collaborate with store managers and buying team
  • Provide professional, knowledgeable service to members and guests

Employment standards:
  • High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
  • 1+ year of retail or administration experience
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in excel and POS systems
  • Interest in retail buying or merchandising
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment

Working Conditions/Environment:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Flexible schedule with a willingness to work a combination of weekdays and weekends.
  • Ability to utilize your personal vehicle to travel to all retail outlets on a daily basis.
  • Able to sit and stand for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, turning, kneeling, stooping and repetitive motion
