Job Description
As a Repack Department Lead, you will oversee daily production activities within the repack department by leading associates, coordinating workflow, and ensuring customer orders are completed safely, efficiently, and accurately. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for maintaining productivity, quality standards, and a positive team environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead daily production activities and assign labor to meet customer priorities
  • Supervise and coach associates on safety, quality, productivity, and attendance
  • Monitor production schedules, staffing, and line efficiency throughout the shift
  • Ensure customer specifications, labeling, documentation, and quality standards are met
  • Promote a safe work environment by enforcing PPE requirements and housekeeping standards
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Customer Service, Inventory Control, and Maintenance to support daily operations
  • Troubleshoot production issues, implement process improvements, and assist with production reporting and inventory accuracy
  • Support employee training, onboarding, and team development while leading by example
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum two years of warehouse or manufacturing experience
  • At least one year of leadership experience in a Lead or Supervisor role preferred
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous repack, contract packaging, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement experience preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, frequently lift up to 25 pounds, and work overtime as needed
