About the Opportunity

Rentyl Resorts is seeking a Director of Sponsorship & Brand Partnerships to drive meaningful corporate, experiential, and lifestyle brand integrations across four high-traffic mixed-use and resort properties in Florida. This is a senior leadership role responsible for sourcing, closing, and stewarding multi-year sponsorship agreements that generate meaningful fee stream revenue while enhancing the guest and resident experience at each property.

The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate the ability to build and close an external pipeline of brand and agency relationships, while working as a trusted partner to the Property General Managers and Property Teams who bring activations to life. The role requires the ideal candidate to sell a deal and support the sponsorship success at Rentyl Resorts properties is measured in part by how seamlessly programs integrate into daily operations and how well property leadership feels supported through every activation.

The ideal candidate should onboard with viable business contacts and relationships with business decision-makers at regional and national brands, agencies, and experiential marketing teams and an instinct for building internal trusted partnerships.

What You Will Own

  • Build and execute a multi-property sponsorship revenue strategy targeting annual partnership revenue targets across Sunset Walk (Orlando), Plantation Walk (Plantation, FL), Miami World Center, and Island H2O (Orlando)
  • Develop and maintain a tiered sponsorship framework , naming rights, presenting sponsorships, experiential activations, digital integrations, and co-branded programming, tailored to each property's unique guest, resident, and community profile
  • Prospect, pitch, negotiate, and close agreements with corporate sponsors, lifestyle brands, media partners, hospitality brands, and regional advertisers
  • Manage the full lifecycle of sponsorship relationships from initial outreach through contract execution, activation, reporting, and renewal
  • Partner directly with property general managers and operations leaders at each location to co-design activation plans that fit the property's rhythm, guest standards, and operational capacity, ensuring leadership feels ownership over every program on their property
  • Serve as the primary liaison between external sponsors and internal property teams, translating brand expectations into on-site execution plans that operations leadership can confidently deliver
  • Collaborate closely with NDM Studios (in-house agency), marketing, and legal teams to ensure activations are delivered with excellence and Rentyl brand standards are maintained across all five properties
  • Report monthly on pipeline health, closed revenue, activation ROI, and renewal forecasts to the EVP of Commercial Strategy, including property-level performance breakdowns for each general manager
  • Represent Rentyl Resorts at industry events, trade shows, and community engagements to build the company's profile as a premier sponsorship platform
  • Identify and pursue co-marketing and cross-promotional opportunities that extend Rentyl's brand reach without incremental media spend

What You Bring

Required

• 7+ years in sponsorship sales, partnership marketing, or brand business development

• Demonstrated track record closing five- and six-figure sponsorship agreements

• Deep existing relationships with brand marketing, experiential, and agency decision-makers in Florida and nationally

• Experience working closely with property or venue operations leadership to plan and execute activations , not just close deals

• Proven ability to earn the confidence of on-site general managers and translate sponsor expectations into operationally realistic programs

• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to create compelling decks and proposals independently

• Comfort with CRM-based pipeline management and monthly reporting cadences

Strongly Preferred

• Existing relationships with Florida-based regional brands, media buyers, and agency planners

• Experience with naming rights, multi-year activation agreements, or venue-integrated sponsorships

• Background in resort, entertainment district, lifestyle real estate, or mixed-use property environments

• Track record of running activations where on-site teams praised the planning and execution process, not just the deal

• Familiarity with experiential event production and activation logistics

• Network spanning CPG, financial services, automotive, spirits, and lifestyle brand categories

• Ability to self-source leads and build pipeline without reliance on inbound inquiries

Who You Will Work With

  • EVP of Commercial Strategy - direct reporting relationship, strategy alignment, and executive sponsor introductions
  • VP of Entertainment - close collaboration on programming calendars, event-driven sponsorship opportunities, and activation timing across all five properties; entertainment and sponsorship strategies must be developed in lockstep to maximize brand impact and guest experience
  • Property General Managers (Sunset Walk, Plantation Walk, Miami World Center, Island H2O) - your most critical internal relationships; activation plans must be co-developed with and signed off by the GM at each property before sponsor commitments are made
  • Property Operations Teams - the people who execute activations on the ground; building their trust and working within their capacity is a core part of this role, not an afterthought
  • NDM Studios - in-house agency team for proposal creative, activation design, and co-branded content production
  • Legal and Finance - contract review, deal structuring, and revenue recognition
  • PR Team - earned media extensions of key sponsorship activations
