Job description

Decker Equipment Rentals is looking for a Mechanic & Delivery Driver to join our team!

This position combines truck and heavy equipment repair and maintenance with equipment rental deliveries. We’re looking for someone who is dependable, hardworking, and able to jump between responsibilities as needed.


What we’re looking for:

  • Punctual and dependable
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Motivated and willing to learn
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to multitask and adapt to changing priorities
  • Previous semi truck and heavy equipment mechanic experience preferred
  • CDL required


Job duties include:

  • Repair and maintenance of semi trucks and heavy equipment
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues
  • Preventative maintenance
  • Delivering and picking up equipment for rental customers
  • Loading, securing, and transporting rental equipment safely
  • Assisting with general shop and equipment needs
