As our Construction Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of hotel construction and renovation projects — managing budgets, timelines, contractors, and stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards expected of the Garnet Hotels brand.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage hotel construction, new-build, and renovation projects from pre-construction through to handover
  • Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and schedules and ensure strict adherence
  • Manage and coordinate contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and interior designers
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and brand standards
  • Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors
  • Provide regular progress reports to senior leadership and ownership groups
  • Oversee snag lists and facilitate smooth handover to hotel operations teams

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of construction project management experience, with significant exposure to the hotel or hospitality sector
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of delivering hotel projects on time and within budget
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work at project locations as required
  • Experience managing project budgets of $5M+

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary package commensurate with experience
  • Employee discounts
  • Opportunity to work on prestigious hotel projects across key markets
  • Clear career progression path within the Garnet Hotels group
  • Dynamic, international working environment
