Job description

Providence Cancer Institute of Oregons Providence Cancer Center-Seaside Clinic is seeking a full-time, Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate to join our practice in picturesque Seaside, Oregon. Notably, this position does not require night or weekend call. Our clinic is located on the campus of Providence Seaside Hospital, a 25-bed critical access facility offering a comprehensive array of services, including cancer care, general surgery, palliative care, rehabilitation, diagnostic imaging, urology, cardiology, primary care, and emergency medicine.

Youll work in a newly renovated clinic alongside an exceptional team comprised of a board-certified Medical Oncologist, highly skilled infusion nurses, an oncology nurse navigator, medical assistants, an oncology dietitian, a social worker, and schedulers. Additionally, you will have support from our specialized Oncology Palliative Care team. As the hematology-oncology, advanced practice clinician with Providence you will participate in the diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of patients with cancer across various stages of care. Join us in providing the highest quality, compassionate care to patients in a beautiful and welcoming community on the north Oregon coast.

Position Details:

  • Full-time, 1.0 FTE at 4-days per week
  • Monday to Friday, daytime hours
  • No nighttime or weekend call required, great work/life balance

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate (Assistant)
  • DEA license and NPI number
  • Minimum of 2 year of oncology experience as an Advanced Practice Provider
  • Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, evidence-based cancer care
  • Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP) or equivalent for Physician Associate required within 12-mouths of hire

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Generous quality incentive, starting bonus, CME funds and hours, reimbursement of licenses and certifications, and relocation assistance available
  • Compensation is between $156,905 and $198,102 per year (dependent upon experience)

  • As a non-profit organization, Providence is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
