As a Summer Intern at Black & Veatch, you will help address some of the world's most pressing infrastructure challenges. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects to meet our clients' needs and contribute to the growth and success of Black & Veatch.
You will be assigned to a functional area in Water and Wastewater.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of electrical engineering deliverables like reports, drawings, specifications, and studies
  • Assist with the engineering analyses, designs, and report production
  • Collaborate with other disciplines and schedule project deliverables
  • Organize and evaluate data, utilizing computer modeling to analyze systems
  • Organize project materials, references, and documentation

Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant coursework or knowledge in Power Systems, Motors, Transformers, Renewable Energy, Power Delivery, or Three Phase Power Calculations
  • Understanding of engineering design principles and design guides
  • Problem-solving skills, effective written communication, and the ability to build relationships
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Minimum Qualifications
No experience required. Current enrollment in ABET accredited university in Electrical Engineering program. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
