Location - Glenn Alan, VA (5 days onsite)
Visa - USC
Interview process - First round virtual technical and final round on-site at Glenn Alan, VA
Location: Onsite
Duration: Long term ongoing contract
Looking for candidates that are in the Richmond (Glenn Alan) area and are willing to come in the office
all 5 days of the week (Exception of holidays). We need local candidates in Richmond VA to apply. It

Summary
Senior Front-End Developer to design, build, and
maintain enterprise-grade web applications supporting mission-critical business operations.
This role requires deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern front-end architecture, with a strong
emphasis on Next.js and server-side rendering technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience
building high-performance applications that leverage SSR, static generation, and modern data-fetching
patterns to improve scalability, security, SEO, and user experience.
The successful candidate will own front-end development throughout the full Software Development
Life Cycle (SDLC), from architectural design and component development through testing, deployment,
and production support. They will work closely with backend engineers and product teams within an
Agile environment to deliver secure, performant, and maintainable applications.

Front-End Development
Develop and maintain enterprise-scale user interfaces using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
Design and build reusable, modular components and shared libraries.
Create responsive, accessible, and maintainable user experiences using modern front-end

Write efficient, secure, and well-documented code following established standards and best
practices.

Design and implement applications utilizing Next.js rendering strategies including:
o Server-Side Rendering (SSR)

o Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR)
o Client-Side Rendering (CSR) where appropriate
Optimize application performance through efficient data-fetching patterns and rendering
strategies.
Build secure integrations between front-end applications and backend services.
Evaluate rendering approaches based on business requirements, scalability, and user experience
goals.
Architecture & Quality
Participate in front-end architecture decisions and technical design discussions.
Establish and uphold development standards, coding conventions, and component design
patterns.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the development organization.
Support software releases and production deployments.
Agile Collaboration
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, and backlog
refinement.
Collaborate closely with backend engineers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers when appropriate.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of professional UI/front-end development experience.
5+ years of professional React development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Next.js in production environments.
Experience implementing Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and modern web application rendering
strategies.
Proficiency with:
o TypeScript
o HTML5
o CSS3
Experience with Material UI (MUI).
Experience building reusable component libraries and scalable front-end architectures.
Experience consuming RESTful APIs and integrating with backend services.
Experience with Jest and front-end testing methodologies.
Strong understanding of Git version control workflows.
Ability to write efficient, secure, maintainable, and testable code.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Spring Boot
Familiarity with Kafka
Knowledge of MongoDB
Experience with Azure DevOps
Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) concepts
