What You'll Do

As part of our Parks Maintenance team, you'll help maintain and enhance O'Fallon's parks, athletic fields, playgrounds, pavilions, lakes, and green spaces. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Grooming and prepping athletic fields for games and tournaments
  • Mowing, trimming, seeding, and aerating turf areas
  • Maintaining park restrooms, pavilions, and playgrounds for public safety
  • Assisting with irrigation, minor construction projects, and playground inspections
  • Operating equipment such as mowers, backhoes, dump trucks, and skid steers
  • Supporting special events, festivals, and snow removal operations

What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1–3 years of experience in groundskeeping, parks maintenance, landscaping, or similar work
  • Valid Class A CDL (or ability to obtain one) – Paid CDL Training Program available
  • Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and in various weather conditions
  • Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is a plus
  • Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid Class A CDL driver's license issued by the State of Missouri for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
