Responsibilities:

  • Comply with directions of all supervisory personnel
  • Vacuum all carpeted floor areas
  • Sweep all non-carpeted floor areas
  • Empty and remove all garbage
  • Wash/wipe all wall areas
  • Dust all surface areas
  • Mop, spot mop, or damp mop floor areas
  • Remove graffiti from all areas
  • Remove gum from all areas
  • Maintain cleanliness of all building furnishings
  • Wash mirror/glass surfaces
  • Remove snow from designated 66th sidewalk
  • Wash /maintain cleanliness of all bathroom fixtures
  • Mop bathroom floors nightly
  • Utilize all floor machines for stripping, buffing, shampooing, and extracting procedures
  • Set up folding tables, chairs, and music stands
  • Move/arrange building furnishings
  • Deliver material from the loading dock, and storage areas, to end user location
  • Comply and follow all emergency procedures
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good Communications skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safely rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Preferred Background:

  • One year of custodial experience

Salary: $25.69 per hour.
