Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough initial assessments to determine clients' mental health needs.
• Developing personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique situation.
• Providing evidence-based psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, couples, and families.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of counseling sessions, using our secure platform.
• Engaging with clients via video conferencing, ensuring that sessions are both supportive and effective.
• Participating in continuing education opportunities and counseling support groups to further your professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will shine as you work with a diverse range of clients, including children, teenagers, adults, and couples navigating various mental health challenges. You will provide essential support in areas such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored interventions will result in improved outcomes and a deeper sense of community well-being.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• Current licensure as a mental health clinician (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage/Family Therapy, or Social Work is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy and mental health counseling.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on client engagement.
• Proficient use of technology for virtual appointments; familiarity with telehealth platforms is a plus.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in a remote or telehealth setting will be given preference. An ability to manage a clinical caseload effectively while maintaining high standards of care will also be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits
