As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations for adult clients to identify their mental health needs and goals.
• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing tailored therapeutic approaches suitable for diverse issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique experiences and needs, continuously monitoring and adjusting these plans as necessary.
• Providing crisis intervention as required, ensuring clients receive immediate support and guidance in times of distress.
• Maintaining accurate, confidential, and comprehensive records of client interactions and progress in accordance with best practices and legal regulations.
• Engaging in continuous professional development, participating in training sessions, workshops, and peer consultations to remain up-to-date with the latest in mental health counseling.
• Contributing positively to the team culture through active participation in team meetings, collaborative projects, and community outreach.

Your work will primarily focus on adult clients facing a range of mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals from various backgrounds and experiences, fostering an environment where each person feels valued and understood. To qualify for this position, candidates should possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as either a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Active registration with the relevant professional body, and the ability to carry professional liability insurance.
• Proficiency in administering psychological assessments, with strong skills in scoring and report writing.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism, adaptability, and the capacity to work effectively within a team.
• A solid commitment to ethical practice and a thorough understanding of clinical judgment and decision-making processes.

While not mandatory, previous experience in a community health setting or with specific therapeutic modalities is a plus. Familiarity with telehealth tools and remote counseling practices can enhance your effectiveness in this position. Experience in crisis intervention and a history of successful outcomes with diverse client populations will also be highly regarded.
