As a crucial member of our healthcare team, you will leverage your expertise to support clients on their path to recovery, focusing on mental health, behavioral challenges, and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive preliminary interviews to accurately assess and document client cases from the initial consultation through to the completion of the treatment process.
  • Evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health to identify their specific needs and challenges.
  • Develop tailored intervention and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring each plan aligns with best practices in psychotherapy.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities suitable for each client's unique situation.
  • Monitor client progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on observed outcomes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mental health specialists, medical doctors, nurses, and social workers, to devise and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Provide follow-up with psychiatrists and attending physicians for clients admitted to hospitals, ensuring continuity of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.
  • A successful score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
  • Strong proficiency with electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR or similar platforms.
