• Conduct thorough assessments and provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans based on client goals, actively monitoring their progress and making adjustments as necessary.
• Guide clients in building effective coping strategies and enhancing life skills through evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Engage with interdisciplinary teams by collaborating with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and quality care for every client.
• Maintain detailed and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accurate documentation for treatment continuity.
• Facilitate workshops or community seminars focused on mental health education and support.

You will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals facing relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. Cultural sensitivity and adaptability are essential as you work with clients from various backgrounds, ensuring that each individual feels understood and respected.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• An active and unencumbered license as a Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to convey empathy and support.
• A proven capacity to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently.
• Experience working with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competence and inclusivity in therapeutic practices.

• Experience in a clinical setting, particularly within community health clinics, is highly desirable.
• Prior experience utilizing telehealth platforms for delivering counseling services.
• Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, and family systems therapy.

The salary range for this role is competitive, between $70,000 and $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and available caseload.
