Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to holistically understand client challenges and strengths.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to address the specific needs of clients, including individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy utilizing diverse modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others as suitable.
• Maintain ethical and accurate clinical documentation in alignment with legal and regulatory standards, ensuring timely updates and compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and other social workers to provide integrated care and facilitate client referrals when necessary.
• Engage actively in clinical team meetings and case consultations to improve therapeutic strategies and share valuable insights.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities, reinforcing a commitment to excellence in practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your therapeutic interventions will target a diverse caseload that includes individuals and families managing a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. You will work closely with clients from various cultural backgrounds, respecting and addressing their unique perspectives and needs in treatment.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active LCSW license in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience is highly preferred, emphasizing your competence in a therapeutic setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency with telehealth platforms, enabling you to deliver effective therapy remotely.
• Exceptional clinical judgment, communication skills, and a deep sense of cultural humility to engage meaningfully with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized training in trauma-informed practices, EMDR, or other therapeutic modalities is advantageous.
