Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services to assigned clients, including individualized therapy, group sessions, and family therapy targeting mental health and emotional disorders.
• Conduct thorough screenings and assessments using evidence-based methodologies to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Create and implement integrated care plans, ensuring effective partnerships between clients, their families, and other healthcare providers.
• Document all client interactions accurately, ensuring timely completion of reports and compliance with ethical standards and organizational protocols.
• Participate actively in team meetings, collaborating to enhance service delivery and improve outcomes for clients.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as needed, based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Support crisis intervention efforts and respond to emergent situations with professionalism and care.
• Provide on-call support during and after program hours as required.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives by engaging in committees and providing feedback to enhance agency practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with clients experiencing significant mental health issues, such as those related to addiction, trauma, and other psychiatric disorders. The population served includes individuals from diverse backgrounds, often facing socioeconomic challenges. Your role will be essential in empowering clients to gain tools for recovery, build resilience, and navigate their personal challenges effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution and a valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.
• Proven expertise in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of populations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and planning competencies to effectively manage a caseload and prioritize client needs.
• Understanding of ethical guidelines and the ability to adhere to established professional conduct standards.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience working in mental health settings, particularly within detox or substance abuse programs. Familiarity with integrated care models, trauma-informed care principles, and working with diverse patient populations will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 85,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
