You will also be a pivotal member of our outpatient mental health clinic team, collaborating with other mental health professionals to deliver coordinated care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address each patient's unique mental health challenges.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused interventions, to improve patients' mental health.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure a high standard of care.
• Collaborate regularly with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other professionals to design and implement integrated treatment strategies for patients.
• Participate in peer clinical consultations and team meetings that aim to enhance treatment methodologies and quality assurance in care delivery.
• Provide education and advocacy for patients and their families about mental health resources, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Stay current with the latest research in mental health practices to inform treatment approaches continually.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, ensuring timely progress toward treatment goals while adhering to ethical standards set forth by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client focus will primarily include individuals experiencing significant mental health issues related to trauma and stress, particularly in the context of serious illness and end-of-life care. You will work closely with patients from diverse backgrounds, each navigating their own unique challenges, creating a rewarding experience of support and healing.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience in psychotherapy, preferably with a focus on serious mental health conditions.
• A strong understanding of solution-focused therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills vital for effective collaboration and patient interaction.
• Robust problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities necessary for clinical assessments.
• A proactive approach to team-based care, demonstrating the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary setting.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care environments is highly desirable.
• Training in specific therapeutic modalities such as mindfulness-based therapy or trauma-focused therapy.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records and other digital tools for patient management.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 80,000 and USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
