Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments of students, utilizing standardized assessment tools and methodologies to create tailored treatment plans that reflect each individual's unique needs and circumstances.

• Implement therapeutic interventions grounded in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based modalities to help students navigate their mental health challenges and foster resilience.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to HIPAA regulations as well as ethical guidelines established by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

• Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and other mental health professionals to provide holistic care, sharing insights and strategies to support students' mental well-being effectively.

• Engage in regular peer review meetings and case consultations, enhancing the quality of care provided and promoting a culture of continuous learning within our team.

• Educate students and their families about mental health conditions, available resources, and effective coping strategies, empowering them to take charge of their wellness journeys.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the mental health field, incorporating evidence-based practices into your therapies to ensure optimal client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on students coping with a range of psychological issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. By understanding the specific contexts and challenges faced by young individuals, you will play a crucial role in helping them develop coping strategies, resilience, and a pathway to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, demonstrating your educational background in clinical social work.

• An active license to practice as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington, reflecting your professional qualification to deliver therapy.

• Proven understanding of solution-focused therapeutic techniques, which will enable you to create effective and personalized care plans for students.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that promote strong therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills essential for assessing complex situations and developing appropriate interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within a school setting or with children and adolescents is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and a commitment to nurturing an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

• Previous experience with remote service delivery or teletherapy is beneficial, as this will help you effectively navigate virtual counseling sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, complemented by a benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement options, paid time off, and additional professional development opportunities.
