Selfcare Space Counseling Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs and crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Engage in psychotherapy sessions, delivering evidence-based therapeutic practices tailored to each client.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments, in collaboration with clients and their families.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions for adolescents, addressing issues such as interpersonal relationships, self-esteem, and coping strategies.
  • Perform psychological testing as assigned and provide supervision to social work interns or student volunteers to ensure quality care delivery.
  • Coordinate with Reentry Social Workers and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless discharge planning and comprehensive support.
  • Complete documentation for all therapy sessions and assessments in compliance with regulatory requirements, participating in clinical supervision and case conferences weekly.
  • Collaborate with the Department of Correction when necessary to facilitate access to treatment for clients involved with the justice system.
  • Participate in mental health and medical rounds to stay informed on client conditions and treatment approaches within institutional settings.

The primary focus of this role is working with teenagers and adolescents facing various challenges, including emotional distress, behavioral issues, and family conflicts. Qualifications
